I love Disney the magic, the service and the general Disney feeling. On my last trip to Tokyo I was able to visit the parks for the first time! I knew that I had to stay at an Disney resort. I will be 100% honest I really wanted to stay at the MiraCosta but budgeting purposes we stayed here.

The hotel is in the Shin-Urauasu area and is not onsite. Meaning you can’t walk straight into the park like the other two hotels. The hotel is split into two buildings, and you can easily get to each via the subway, train, bus or uber.
Here are the direct directions from Disney’s website:
– Get off at Maihama Station on JR (Japan Railway) Keiyo Line / Musashino Line
Complimentary bus service is available from the Tokyo Disneyland Bus & Taxi Terminal. It takes approximately 20 minutes to the hotel.
– Get off at JR Shin-Urayasu Station on JR (Japan Railway) Keiyo Line / Musashino Line. Take a Tokyo Bay City Bus number 3, 11 or 23 at the South Exit Bus Terminal. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to the hotel (fare not included).
This would be comparable to a moderate/value hotel at Walt Disney World. What’s unique about the hotel rooms in Tokyo is that they come with tons of beds! Even the standard room could sleep four.
I found that different then when I stay at a Walt Disney World or Disneyland hotel. You also can’t bundle your stay with a meal pass, but you do get early access to the parks.
The hotel is very bright and colorful, and the murals in the room are pretty cool! I wouldn’t say this is a five-star accommodation by any means but its great if you are just needing a place to sleep.
The rooms are good size and as I mentioned above can sleep large amounts of people. This is great if you are travelling with your family. The beds were very comfortable, but the room lacked the WOW factor of some of the other Disney resorts I have stayed at.
If you are looking for highly themed rooms then you want to look at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
I was a little underwhelmed by this resort and wouldn’t stay there on my next visit. For a comparison when I stay at Walt Disney World, I only stay at Deluxe style resorts such as Animal Kingdom Lodge. I love a well decorated hotel that offers more amenities on site such as dining, pool, and spa.
There was none of that here, but it was great for just being a place to sleep. They did have a convenience store on site where I was able to grab small snacks, but true dining options were lacking. For more information on my experience visiting Tokyo Disneyland click here.
