Hotel Review Brindleys Bed & Breakfast

Let me start with I usually NEVER choose to stay at a Bed and Breakfast. I associate them with weird cat ceramic art, weird stuffy smells and forced social interaction. I think I watched too much Gilmore Girls and Lorelai was constantly talking smack about them. When I decided to visit Bath, the hotel I wanted was booked and I stumbled across Brindley’s Bed and Breakfast. I was cautious, but it looked really cool, so I said “fuck it, let’s try”. Let me just say I went in with zero expectations and left wanting to go back!

Bath, England is known as a spa town and is one of the quaintest places I have ever been. Brindley’s embodies that same feeling in their establishment. It was once a large Victorian house built in 1871 and is a five-minute walk from the City Centre. They only have six rooms, but the service is comparable to any large high-end hotel. The couple who runs it are really sweet and accommodating. They genuinely care about all of their guest and make sure you have the best experience possible!

There are no formal restaurants on site, but they do serve a full breakfast. It was truly amazing and had anything and everything you could need. The dining room is so cute and was a perfect place to have a leisurely breakfast. Now if you have a tour and can’t make the breakfast time, they accommodate within reason. They can either pack you a breakfast which would be something cold but still delicious or serve you early. I had both done for me as well as a proper relaxed breakfast and all the food was fantastic!

I obviously loved the slower paced breakfast the best. Especially the tea, that tea was something else! That always seems to be the case though when I am in England.

The six rooms are all individually themed and decorated! I really love that because it gives it that whimsical charm without being corny or trying too hard. I stayed in Room Three which is a Deluxe Super King. My favorite feature was the shower and the heated towel rack. I mean seriously, a heated towel rack is my new favorite hotel accessory! You can visit their website to see what each room looks like and pick your favorite!

Room Tour

Brindleys Bed and Breakfast is a unique bed and breakfast and worth a stay. For my first bed and breakfast I was thoroughly impressed. It was centrally located, so cute and chic and the owners were amazing! Breakfast was wonderful and I would definitely stay there again and recommend you stay there as well!

Let me know if you decide to stay there and if so, what room was your favorite!
