Whenever I can live up to my Princess dreams I 100% take advantage of it! I was lucky enough to have a romantic stay in a real German castle! Yep, I am so serious, it was a real thing. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done as a couple. Now the castle we stayed at is called Schlosshotel Kronberg and it’s a 30-minute drive outside of Frankfurt.
The location is stunning because you are nestled away on a beautiful property. It was built by empress Victoria and the castle has been able to retain its romantic charm. I am going to dive right in on some of the romantic things you can expect and do while staying here!
Schlosshotel knows they are a romantic destination, and they play it up. You can book the “Sweet days for two” package. It includes one night (you can add more), champagne in your room, roses decorated in the suite, a four-course dinner and champagne for breakfast! They will even leave chocolates in the room which is such a perfect touch.
This property is so stunning and if you visit in the fall or spring you will have amazing weather and foliage. Take a romantic stroll together and I promise you will love it. There is a lot to walk through and you feel as if you stepped back in time. Grab a bottle of wine, head out and enjoy!
We had a six-course dinner in the Castle Restaurant, and it was so fancy! Make sure to dress up it’s such a fun experience. They have mood lighting, and the ambiance is very romantic. Plus, they bring a whole cheese cart and what’s more romantic than cheese? If you want to know more on the dining experience, read my full review here.
Massages and romance go together like wine and chocolate. They have an amazing on-site spa that you and your partner should 100% go to! Have the perfect day getting massages, facials and relaxing. They have a full sauna, steam bath and relaxation room!
See I told you, this place is so romantic and something every couple should experience! If you find yourself in Frankfurt, do yourself a favor and book a stay with your partner. You will be so glad you did!
